Woodburn Schools Locked Down After Credit Union Hold Up

Woodburn, Oregon -  Some Woodburn schools were locked down for a time today after an armed robber held up the MAPS Credit Union on Newberg Highway. The lockdown of schools in the area  was lifted after an hour around 1:35p.m. Witnesses say the man was white and wore dark clothing. He took off on foot toward The Estates on Broughton Way.

Nobody was hurt during the hold up. If you have any information, Woodburn police want to hear from you. Call 503-982-2345.
