Hillsboro dog owner Marlin Starr says there had been no response to his complaint of animal abuse, allegedly by Washington county animal control, until today.
According to Starr, animal control officer Hoyt Stepp struck his dog in the eye with a baton. Stepp says the dog was dangerous and aggressive.
Starr admits his dog got out into the street and was barking. But, he says his dog didn’t deserve a beating. Starr says his dog, Dojie, may lose the eye.
