The official search has been called off for a Troutdale man who disappeared from the scene of a car crash Monday night, but his family refuses to give up hope.
“We are doing a lot of hugging and just keeping our hopes up.”
Kyle Peterson’s family presses on encouraged by the support of their community.
“I mean perfect strangers are just coming up and offering their help.”
His family was out this morning searching near the site where he went missing.
The search continues for a 29-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since crashing his car into a guardrail Monday night.
Troutdale police have released video from a dash cam which shows a local resident with a striking resemblance to Kyle Peterson talking with another unidentified and unrelated motorist.
Police report that Peterson apparently walked into the woods after his accident and vanished. Search and rescue crews spent Thursday scouring the Sandy River using sonar. Peterson’s family is asking people who live in the area to check their properties.
