Cedar Mill, Oregon – A big heart and big wallet mean Sunset High School in the Beaverton School District will be able to install synthetic turf on its athletic fields. Athletic Director Pete Lukich says the donor wants to remain anonymous. They hope to have the turf installed by September. He says “Some things just happen. You walk the right place and it happens.”

Beaverton School District Superintendent Jeff Rose says “This gift is incredibly generous and will benefit not only the Sunset High School community, but the greater Beaverton community as well. The fields will be used by thousands of students year round to practice and compete in sports, marching band and community recreational programs.”
