A vice president of Pacific University in Forest Grove is charged with child sexual abuse.
Michael Mallery, 48, faced a judge Wednesday afternoon after a grand jury accused him of sexually abusing two young girls who are related to him. Mallery pleaded not guilty to seven counts of sex abuse in the first degree.
The girl may have been molested in 2010, but Mallery was never prosecuted. He is also charged with abusing an 11-year-old girl in May 2013.
While investigating that case, detectives learned about the second case dating back to 2010.
Bail is set at $175,000 and Mallery will be back in court on March 14th.
