Identity Theft

A Keizer man might be wishing he hadn’t become involved in the life of his stepdaughter.  Police say Dwight Tilley, 51, hacked the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the Oregon State University student.

Police say he was trying to stop her from drinking and seeing a male friend.

Officers say Tilley guessed the passwords to get access, retrieved photos from her computer, sent her email on a fake account, and threatened to post the photos.  Then, according to police, Tilley did just that– on Instagram.  To top it off, police say he entered her apartment to empty a bottle of tequila.

Tilley pled not guilty Tuesday to charges including identity theft and burglary.
