Portland Police Kept Busy Friday Night

Portland Police are stumped and asking for your help.

Officers responded to the area of Northeast 107th and Wygant, after residents say they heard gun shots.By the time officers arrived, no one was at the intersection, but they found a pile of shell casings. After a search of the area investigators couldn’t locate any victims. If you know anything about the gunshots your asked to call the Portland Police Gang Enforcement Team.

Meanwhile an employee of PDX Tobacco ended his night with a gun in his face.

Portland Police say a group of young men described as Pacific Islanders demanded money and cigarettes at gun point. This all happened sometime after midnight on Northeast 60th Avenue. The clerk gave up the money and the men escaped either on foot or in a vehicle. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Robbery detectives.
