PORTLAND — The man who shot three people including a bouncer and a waitress at a strip club last Saturday night before being shot himself by another bouncer has died from his injuries.

43-year-old Thomas Hjelmeland passed away at a Portland hospital.

He was denied entry to the Mystic Gentleman’s Club at Southeast 99th and Stark because of his behavior.  Staff say he was belligerent and made racist comments.  He returned a half hour later armed with a gun wearing a mask.
