It now will cost you to park at Washington Park in Portland. Most people we talked to don’t seem to mind but the pay stations are a challenge. They’re different from those in the city in that each spot will be assigned a number, and drivers will have to enter in that number at the pay station along with their payment. You’ll have to pay to park at all the attractions. The first 30 minutes will be free, after which vehicles will be charged $1.60 an hour, with a $4 max during non-peak season and a $6.40 max during peak season. All profits will go towards park improvements and maintenance.
