Portland Couple Wins $9 Million Megabucks Game

Written by Jeremy Scott on January 2, 2014

SALEM — A Portland couple won the $9 million Megabucks game from December 21st.  Cindy Degner woke up her husband Randy the next morning to his disbelief.

“I had Randy hold the ticket and I read him the winning numbers.  Then we went to the 7-Eleven to check the ticket and they said we needed to go to Salem.  I think he was pretty convinced by then,” said Cindy.

The couple took the cash and will split the $3 million jackpot.  The store at Southeast 112th and Powell is rewarded with a check for $90,000 for selling the winning ticket.

Cindy hadn’t played for nearly three weeks before getting the sudden urge, one that has changed the couple’s lives.

New Year, New Millionaire! What a great time to win. Meanwhile, if you’re interested, I have my own little just-for-fun page which generates my own personal quick pick numbers. As I say, it is strictly just for fun, but you never know your luck! Look out for VillaLibra if you want to see if you can locate it.
