KXL FM Signal Goes Silent

PORTLAND — Shortly before 9:45 on Thursday morning, our 101.1 FM signal went off the air.

Thankfully, we have the best engineers in the business here at Alpha Broadcasting.  They were right on the ball and the signal was restored within 20 minutes.

“We had an issue with a main power breaker and are investigating what caused the power trip,” said Chief Engineer Thor Waage.

We know you depend on live and local radio, and KXL apologies for this inconvenience.

Remember, you can always stream us via our app or the “Listen” tab at the top left of this site.

This is the second time in recent weeks. You might want to consider an alternate site you can switch to when something like this happens. That way we can depend on the station to remain on the air in an emergency.
