Beaverton, Oregon – 16 year old bowler Conner Jackley heads to Las Vegas this week to try to earn a spot on Team USA. The team travels around the world to attend international competitions.

Conner’s got game. He bowled 877 in a three game series this year and earned the title of Youth National High Series Award. A perfect score for three games is 900. Conner says “I just tried not to think about it. Just take one shot at a time and make sure I was ready and just go. I kind of turned my mind off.”

He first picked up a bowling ball at a birthday party when he was 6 or 7 and thought it was fun. He soon started playing in a league and has been perfecting his game ever since. Conner, who is a student at Sunset High School, says he plans to take bowling as far as he can and if he can make it on the pro tour, he says that “would be pretty cool.”
