On the strength of their defense, the #10 Oregon Ducks rolled the Texas Longhorns 30-7 in the Alamo Bowls in San Antonio, Texas. The Ducks enjoyed 2 TD’s on defense, while Quarterback Marcus Mariota handled the offense with 133 yards on the ground and 253 through the air.
The game was the last for long-time Oregon Defensive Coordinator Nick Aliotti as well as Texas head coach Mack Brown. The win moves Oregon to 11-2 for the year, while the Longhorns fell to 8-5.
