Written by Christina Kemp on December 29, 2013

A man threatened to shoot and stab passengers on a bus from Portland to Tillamook. Sheriff’s Deputies were called out to the Banks Fire Department Saturday December 29th once the bus had stopped. There, they say 30-year-old Oliver Powell urinated on the sidewalk before being taken into custody.

“There was no firearm found but these sorts of instances are very traumatic for the people on the bus. It causes a lot of commotion”.

Police believe Powell had been drinking heavily. Right now he is lodged in the Washington County jail. Powell is facing many charges including disorderly conduct and menacing. His bail is set at 20-thousand dollars.
