PORTLAND — While it’s just rain now, washing away any trace of the light snow that fell overnight, it was just enough to delay and close schools in the outlying areas on Friday.

Most of the areas where the snow fell turned rainy and breezy by mid morning and will stay that way throughout the afternoon.

“Boy the rain keeps on coming and I expect more for the rest of the day with highs topping out in the low to mid 40′s,” says KGW Meteorologist Nick Allard.
