Flames Damage Oregon City Home

Written by Dave King on December 12, 2013

Heavy fire consumed the vacant home undergoing renovations in Oregon City Wednesday evening. The flames quickly spread to the roof of the three-story house in the 200 block of Terrace Avenue around 5:45 p.m. Clackamas Fire’s Brandon Paxton says more than 40 firefighters, including responders from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, Canby Fire District and the Gladstone Fire Department, battled the blaze for nearly an hour before bringing it under control. There were no people or belongings inside the home. Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fire.
