Missing 13-year-old Samantha Dodson was found in Oregon City.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office says a credible tip came in and search teams were able to locate Dodson and the man she was believed to be with 40-year-old Kelsey McCune, around 4 p.m on December 7th.
Dodson is said to be in good condition and will we reunited with her family.
McCune is in custody. He is facing several serious charges. Including kidnapping, sexual assault, and rape.
The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the wooded area off of South Maple Lane Road and South Country Village Drive where the pair was found.
OREGON CITY, Ore. — A 13-year-old girl ran away from home and may be in danger. Samantha Dodson is believed to be camping with a drifter who spent Thanksgiving with her family.
Authorities are searching for the girl and 40-year-old Kelsey McCune in the Newell Creek area of Clackamas County. They may be using public transit and it’s believed they have camping equipment with them.
“We miss you and we really, really, really want you to come home and be safe. We just want to make sure that you’re okay,” said sister Sarah.
Samantha is white, 5’4″, 125 lbs. with brown eyes, a slim build and hair that was recently dyed red. McCune is alos white, 6’0″, 170 lbs. with a glass eye and salt-and-pepper hair. He’s been known to make money doing freelance computer work.
Clear Channel has donated billboards to get the word out to drivers. One will go up on McLoughlin Boulevard and two others in Washington County.
