Jeremy was born and raised in Southeast Portland and has loved radio since he could walk and talk. He reports the news and traffic mid-days on Oregon’s station of the year. You also see his stories here on the website.
A resident of Hawthorne, Mount Scott, Sellwood, Laurelhurst and now the Pearl, Jeremy is a true Oregonian.
This hometown boy struck an early love with radio, setting up mock radio stations in his bedroom and fully annoying his parents and siblings. Coming from a family of musicians, he’s never shy around the mic.
In addition to KXL, Jeremy is also the play-by-play voice of the Portland Thunder arena football team, Warner Pacific College basketball, Portland Chinooks of the International Basketball League, and he’s occasionally hosted Portland Timbers soccer broadcasts.
Jeremy is also fascinated with the growing world of Internet radio and has been involved in several web-based audio projects.
One thing you probably don’t know about Jeremy: He was a magician touring the state performing at fairs, community events, parties and retirement homes. Jeremy can juggle and once dressed up a clown to put on an “acrobatic” show.
