Drug Related Explosion Blows Out Wall

A man cooking drugs in his Sylvan Heights condo when the mixture exploded leaving him with third degree burns on his upper body. The blast was so violent it blew out an entire wall of his second floor unit and sent furniture and his belongings flying down to the parking lot below. 22 year old Nicholas Broms is in stable condition at Legacy Emmanuel and could face criminal charges. Several neighbors were evacuated because of concerns about more explosions. A special unit was called in to clear the condo of any potentially hazardous chemicals or materials.
