The Derby

The Derby is a precursor to the famed Kentucky Derby, the first of horse racings "Triple Crown". Here's a cocktail to help inspire your picks as you peruse the racing forms.

Ingredients: 1.5oz. Kentucky bourbon, 1./2oz. sweet vermouth, 1/2oz. orange liqueur, 1/2oz. orange juice, 1/2oz. fresh lime juice, a sprig of mint for garnish.

Preparation: In a shaker filed with ice, add liquid ingredients. Shake vigorously, strain into an Old Fashion glass filled with ice, and add mint sprig for garnish. Go Seabisquet!
