Woman Attacked at Washington Square Mall

A woman's worst nightmare becomes reality when she was caught by surprise. The victim was walking through a through an empty parking lot near Washington Square Mall. It was 9:00PM and the dark night sky, combined with her being alone set the perfect scene for a crime of opportunity.  In fact the authorities say if she would have been with just one other person, the odds of her being attacked would have been cut in half. She was hit in the back of the head by an object on her way home from a days work at the mall. The victim was taken to a local hospital. Tigard Police say she was pretty bruised, luckily she wasn't seriously injured. The only tip available is from a witness who says they saw someone speeding away in a tan sedan.
