Registration and Insurance on Your Smart Phone?

A bill in the Washington Legislature sponsored by Republican State Senator Pam Roach would allow drivers to carry their registration an insurance on the smart phone. 

Roach says the digital proof would give people who are concerned about having their sensitive documents stolen during a break-in another option; she calls it an issue of safety.

The bill passed the senate and is on the way to the house.
