The Long Road South

A couple from Portland has decided to ride their bikes from Portland all the way to Patagonia.  It's a 10,000 mile trip that Seth McBride & Kelly Schwan will take alone. 

McBride rides in a laid back special bike using only his arms for power.  He was paralyzed as a teenager while skiing.  Schwan will pull all the gear in a trailer.

The pair say they simply want to take the year-long trip to inspire others.  The amazing ride through Oregon, California, Mexico, Central America and South America is expected to take about a year.
