Portland Jockey Loses Everything in Fire

April Boag is a jockey at Portland Meadows.  But since it's the off season here, she is currently racing at a track near San Francisco.  Because Boag and her two kids are on the road so much, they live in a travel trailer.  On Monday, it burst into flames.  She was napping at the time and her 5 year old son was playing video games.  Boag singed her hair rescuing him.  Boag says it took only 3 minutes for the trailer to become fully engulfed in flames.  Everything they owned was inside.  People at the track in California are helping Boag and her kids with a new place to live and her friends at Portland Meadows are collecting donations to ship down to her.  They're collecting clothes, toiletries, school supplies, towels,  any and all household items.  For more information on where to take your donations, and details on what size clothes to buy for the kids, click here.
