This year's U.S. women’s soccer team will hope to emulate the powerful performance of the dominant squad from 1996. At Atlanta, Tiffeny Milbrett and her compatriots lead the U.S. on a historic gold medal run. U.S. women’s soccer pioneer Tiffeny Milbrett joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about soccer at the London Olympics. Tifferny is retired from soccer, but her storied career has earned her a spot in the Portland Hall of Fame and more importantly, in the hearts of American soccer fans.

Tiffeny and John talks about her career as a professional soccer player and playing for the U.S. national team. She discusses her achievements at the Olympics in 1996. She reveals what it was like to live in the Olympic Village in Atlanta. She explains why she is so good to her fans. Tiffeny then talks what it means to her to be inducted into the Portland Athletic Hall of Fame. She gives her take on the future of professional women's soccer in America and whether a new league could be viable.
